1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Foundyr platform, including all websites, applications, and services provided by Foundyr FZ-LLC (“Foundyr”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Foundyr. If you are using the platform on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
2. Description of the service
Foundyr is an educational and planning platform designed to help founders plan, validate, and launch businesses — with a specific focus on the UAE regulatory and business environment.
Important limitation — not professional advice
Foundyr is not a law firm, accounting firm, financial adviser, or licensed professional services provider. Nothing on the platform constitutes legal, tax, accounting, investment, or financial advice. All content is provided for educational and informational purposes only. You should always consult a qualified UAE-licensed professional before making any legal, tax, or financial decisions.
3. Account registration
To access most features, you must create an account. You agree to:

- —Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of UAE law
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or other users' data
- Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or violates any third party's rights
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the platform without written permission
- Resell or redistribute platform content without express written consent
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
5. Intellectual property
All platform content, design, code, trademarks, and brand elements are the property of Foundyr FZ-LLC and protected by UAE and international intellectual property law.
Your content: You retain ownership of all content you create using Foundyr — your startup plans, interview responses, and uploaded evidence files are yours. You grant Foundyr a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the platform services to you.
AI-generated content: Content generated by our AI interview engine in response to your inputs is provided to you as a planning tool. You may use, edit, and distribute such content for your own business planning purposes.
6. Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated. Prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for unused portions of a billing period, except where required by UAE consumer protection law.
Price changes: We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, Foundyr and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amounts paid by you to Foundyr in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to the courts of the UAE having jurisdiction.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-platform notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
